A human face for Microsoft

Microsoft wanted a stage for its competitive advantage: its ability to create affordable, seamless consumer experiences that combine the magic of software with the power of the Internet across a world of devices.

In late 2009, we helped launch the world’s first two Microsoft Stores in Scottsdale, Arizona and Mission Viejo, California — the first steps in an important Microsoft initiative to engage more directly with customers. Our team helped develop everything from the Microsoft store logo to bags to collateral to employee style guides to the largest HD display wall in the world with 180 feet of digital ribbon.

Microsoft brings customers into its world

In today's digital world, sometimes we all just need some good old-fashioned face-to-face contact.

But that face-to-face contact is even better in a completely digitized store, surrounded by mini-films on the world's largest HD Display Wall, magical Surface tables, Xboxes exhibits, and countless other technological marvels that we have helped Microsoft bring to life in its first ever retail store.

Working with our design group, COLLINS:, and several other production and architectural groups, we helped concept, design and execute store elements that help bring the Microsoft experience out of the cloud and into a mall near you.
